Cursillo Encounters are hosted several times per year at different parish locations throughout the Archdiocese of St. Paul and Minneapolis. Men and women participate in separate weekends to facilitate open discussions with same gender participants.

To attend a Cursillo Weekend, you will need a sponsor within Cursillo. Anyone who has already made a Cursillo weekend can sponsor you. Your sponsor will meet with you to answer any questions you may have about the weekend and assist you with the application. An application fee should accompany the application. The application fee amount is on the online registration page.

Your sponsor will also transport you to and from the weekend and walk with you during the first year after your weekend. They will help establish you in a weekly Group Reunion in your area (or via video call), and introduce you to others in Cursillo through community events.

If you know someone who is active in Cursillo, you can ask them to be your sponsor. If you are interested in making a weekend and do not know someone who could sponsor you, contact a Cursillo representative via e-mail at pre-cursillo@tc-cursillo.org. In the email, please include your phone number as well as your parish and/or city of residence. The representative you work with will do his or her best to connect you with a sponsor at your parish or in your general geographic area so they can best support you.
