Lottie & Duwayne Virnig were active in Cursillo many years ago.  Lottie has been fighting cancer since 2011 and her battle is nearly over.

On 3/3 Lottie's daughter wrote: It is with sad news that I write this. Mom has been entered into hospice. The doctor last night said that she has about 1-7 days. She has a full bowel obstruction.

Last night 3/8, she posted: So, today we transferred Mom to the JA Wedum hospice care facility.  It is very nice. Very quiet. It was a pressing morning at the care conference but everyone’s concerns were heard and we decided this was the best place for Mom.

    This is my prayer today...

Jesus, your loving servant Lottie has had a great life.  8 grands, 2 children, 1 loving husband and MANY MANY MANY friends and family.  She has guided soooo many people, counseled them, cried with them, cared for them.   She has fought the good fight and counted her blessings.  Please come be with her as she struggles to let go. We know she has a place with you.... just welcome her and give us your strength to let go as well...Amen
